Capturing Space

This photography series emulates the ideas of space and it’s features such as symmetry, asymmetry, colour, compositional use, POV, form etc. I mainly focused on exploring space and areas found outdoors making sure to personally concentrate on composition, form and point of focus for my images utilizing thirds, leading lines, shapes and depth.

I took reference from a family member who travels New Zealand as a full-time photographer; taking photos of the coastline and its people. He was able to give me some tips and tricks on how his process and photoshoots happen.

In this series I began to experiment more frequently with different outdoor places and scenes until I narrowed down what type of space I wanted to achieve. I have given thought to Proccess and set up in order to produce interest and accuracy towards my topic and series as a whole.
