The inspiration behind my animation was taken from mental health, specifically focusing on phobias like Nyctophobia (Being afraid of the dark). I accomplished this through the pitch black background and the dim lighting and glow effects throughout. the colour scheme was also strongly taken into consideration allowing for ominous monochromatic effects, displaying the contrast between black and white. The full meaning of this narrative is to show the robot exploring something it doesn't know. This shows the robots innocence and naivety. So scared he overloads in a burst of light through this shows that it was just another robot and nothing to be scared about. I took cliche ideas from Disney as these two robots fly off into the metaphorical sunset. It demonstrates the moral that there's nothing to fear when you're in a dark place either physically or mentally when you've got someone to support you.
