The Joint I imitated in my sculpture was the ankle. Through this, I affiliated and took the movement types of rotation, roll, and pivot. Embracing the ideas of these movements and what they required to occur in my models' mechanics, I further researched the angles, measurements, and techniques I could incorporate into my design. I used the base material of my Cedarwood for the movement's methods of a synovial joint with its rounded ends making a form of a joystick. This means that the model would be versatile and formed to be handheld. I then utilised the rest of the materials to maximise user interface and interaction by improving comfort and effective ease of use. Once the inspiration started flowing and I gained direction it was easy enough to make my vision a reality.
